Just arrived today ! Well built little bass ! There is a crack (described in the auction)and some fingerboard separation from the nut to the 5th fret, got that all glued up ! Now all I need are some saddles for the three point, anyone got a set ? Yes it is a Dimarzio  ;D I bet this thing is going to sound killer, lots 'O fun for 20 bucks.

i have that same bass,though i paid a bit more and got a hard case with it. mine plays and sounds great.and yes DiMarzio.

Mine is DEFINITELY NOT a DIMARZIO.  It's mid 80's and obviously Hondo was going downmarket and just wanted the Dimarzio look.  No screw in pole pieces.  If you want it it's yours for $15 shipped.  If that's not reasonable PM me with a counter offer.
