Can you drill a Mustang bridge for top load?
I am in the process of assembling a 70's Musicmaster/Mustang hybrid, from a '79 Musicmaster body routed to accept a Mustang split pickup (actually a Bullet bass pickup but what's the difference?) and a '75 Mustang neck (with Hipshot Ultralites for better balance). It will look just like a Mustang only with a Musicmaster top-load 2-saddle bridge.
