Socialist Scots should stick together!  I admire your unfinished basses.  Your rate of progress gives me some comfort!   :P.  Even Shubert couldn't finish all of his symphonies.   :)

I hope I can have a few moments tomorrow and work on the BillyBo!  I almost have the wiring finished (after putting a big nick in the finish   :-[ ).  It's always something!!!!!!

Yeah, you're right Kenny.  I was thinking I'd tie it to the bumper of my Mustang GT and drag it around the block!  Kind of a hot rod relic job.   ;D

That would be akin to painting a moustache on a masterwork.   :-[

Yeah, I was kidding.  I'm already trying to figure out how to do a simple touch up job on it.  Either way, it will sound the same when finished!   ;D

Outside in the garden and substitute "shed" (garage) doing some sorting out... had a good Sunday and now have the old shed bench offered up in place and getting a better idea of the size and shape of the "music" room, so can't complain... I can see significant floor space appearing and a stack of flattened empty boxes have appeared...
Take it easy, Bill... you're gonna get roughs and smooths... one step at a time and if you need to take a break, take it... ;)
ps
Haven't quite got round to putting the new mower together yet, but I did buy some "gas" for it...

Thanks Kenny.  It sounds like you're making great progress.  I had a crappy week cuz my pain hadn't improved with the radiation treatment.  So, yesterday I gave into taking the pain killers and I feel a lot better.  I can actually do stuff now.  Hopefully this next week will be better!  I just hate taking any drugs of any kind, to the point of torturing myself unnecessarily!  Duh, I'm not doing that any more. :P

I'll post any progress I make on the BillyBo.

Pain meds seem to do the most good for people who have no interest in them.

Ironic, yes?

I do think that is often the case.  I'm just not inclined to take stuff.  There's something in my brain that just fights it.  Drugs do seem to work well on me in small doses, so I can't complain about that.

Scott... would you be willing to take a trip, and if Bill's willing, finish his summer project...?

... and maybe anything else he may want you to do...?

Sigh, I am more than willing to do anything Bill would like but right now I get the feeling he wants to withdraw and be with his family. I was in contact with him a few days before he contacted Dave and we more or less said our good byes. I don't have a clear idea where he is in his journey but I think he is close to the end and the last thing I want is to intrude.
