Here's my one and only Fender I have left. This was done in 1985. I love the feel of this one.
66 Mustang body, 77 Musicmaster neck, EMG active pups.

Nice color.

I don't care for EMGs but at least there's no problem with polepiece spacing like you would have with standard J pickups.

Sounds good for some blues or country but not enough bite for rock. I'm sure the short scale is the reason.
It was still my favorite of the Fenders I had.
