The suffering of a poor Tbird!

I have to admit the initial price of this when I saw it yesterday tempted me  - at that time it was at $315.00.  The Badass bridge shimed with plywood, electronics mod, screw/washer crapola where the PG screws where and even the that fugly doodad with leather fringe stuffed into the wire route didn't scare me off!   Even the crack on the back of the headstock didn't worry me too much but, the brass plate screwed screwed into the headstock just forward of the nut made me think twice.  I'm not scared of a headstock crack but a badly executed repair is much harder to make right.  I still might of hit it if it had stayed under $450 - $600 was bit high for my budget as I mentally figured on about a minimum $300 restoration.

I saw that and never gave it a second thought. Way too much unsaid, and what you could see was bad enough. The seller is one of those consignment drop-off places so you know they wouldn't be able to answer any important questions.

The owner must have been in my general area. Maybe I can "pay them a visit". I'll need Joe (Chromium) there to back me up tho. Maybe we should bust his knee caps with a maple neck?

Can I bring pliers and a blowtorch?  or maybe in this case it should be calipers and a soldering iron?  ???

600 is way to much, I think I paid less than a grand for my white one. There was nothing wrong with it at the time.  ;)
