My small rig from Saturday night's wedding gig ...

How are you liking the shuttle, mark? I'm really digging mine into either of
my EA cabs.

Actually, that's a Streamliner, not a Shuttle.  But I'm really digging it - sounds great through any of my cabs

Ampeg V4-B bi-amped into a modified Orange AD30HTC, going into an Ampeg SVT 1540 HE cabinet. The V4-B is the master, EQ'd for clarity, high-mid-low set to about 6-8-7. The Orange is the slave and EQ'd for mid level gain with high high-mid-low set to around 5-6-9. The V4-B goes to the 1x15 half of the cabinet and the Orange goes to the 4x10 half of the cabinet. I get clean and articulate lows and mids with a nice thick fuzz over the higher frequencies.

And here's an action shot with T-bird #1:

When we play smaller venues, I ditch the Orange and turn up the Ampeg for light distortion, like in this video with T-bird #2:

Man, I'd love to hear those tone-ring cabs. Did the one you put on the block get sold?

Hey GOT... I realize this is three years late, but, what is that funky cabinet under the Sound City head?

It's a Duesenberg Starplayer.  I just bought a black one as well - they are hands down the nicest semi-hollow or hollow body bass I've ever played.  Build quality is as good as anything on the planet, and the Plek'ed necks are superb.

That cab is a  mid 70's Marshall 2x12 that was paired with there early Marshall solid state amps. It used to have a white/gray basket weave grill.  Great sounding cab a volume!
