Hanging some soft material like rugs or carpet from the walls (and dropping carpet on the floor) would make that room much less acoustically live - your rehearsals would probably sound better.

Thanx for the advice, I know that stuff already, but that rehearsal room is not complet yet, we're still workin on it! :)

Here's my little outfit. I've been practicing with the NR quite a bit lately.

Here's my no 1 rig. AD200B MK II, BPE 115 and OBC 410. I don't have any pics of the other one but it consists of a Hiwatt DR201 and a Fender Bassman 4x12".

What era are they, and does the "exiled" one go by any other name...?

Dannedoom (Danne?) ... and yet another HIWATT owner...  ;D  ;D  ;D

What era's yours...?

I know, he's a greedy bastard. They are vintage amps, not reissues, that's all I know.
But they sound damn good.

Has he got them registered with Mark Huss...? (acknowledged expert on the beasties - check out his web-site http://mhuss.com/Hiwatt/index.html - lots of juicy details, and he is really helpful with advice on vintage kit; also has links for spares...)

Mine's a 1970 with a 3 figure serial number, built by Dave Reeves (RIP) in his garage, which is about five miles from here...

Oops... I got all nerdy...  :o

Snapped a current shot of the setup I'm using with the fabulous Thunderbirds*:

*not to be confused with the Fabulous Thunderbirds

Here's a gig pic... the usual cellphone variety:

The head is an AD200 Mk3, and the cab is an SVT 410.  I have a similar 210 cab, but usually just leave that one parked and use it for a practice setup.

I don't think so, but he's got a Hiwatt t-shirt. Does that count? :P

My name is Daniel but most people call me Danne (common nick for Dan and Daniel in Sweden). Mine is a reissue, probably from around 2003.

I never see my "rig" except when I'm on stage, and never thought to bring a camera to take a pic of it, but here's a few shots that show my amp. Ampeg Rocketbass 100 with Sansamp VT bass and Fulltone Bass Drive. Certainly not impressive to look at but sounds fantastic.

ehhhhhhh, FWIW here is a snap of my work in progress rig. just got the cab today and although i promised Rick the speakers were going in ASAP, i have to prepare to drive to Calif. G/F is flying out for a funeral and i am driving out to meet her and stay for Christmas. sorry about the check out Rick, the report will have to wait till i get back after New Years. (sigh)

the work in progress = mounting the G12T-75 speakers (presently in a big box supporting my computer) making it basically Marshall speakers in a Fender cab, the logo on the head and regrill clothing the speaker cab as i think the cloth is put on sideways but i will have to research that deal to make sure i am right before proceeding.

so what if they don't match i'm not prejed, predge, racist. my new grandchild arriving in April is a Mulligan mix and dats the way life/love...and sometimes music is!
