However great the outcome, I really missed having a poll where we could have voted for the new color of the truss rod cover.

Next time I'll make a poll!!

The 'thing' is a seventies Kustom bass head I bought for 50 euros. It ousnds pretty well and I only use it as a back up. I had some tube problems with my Orange and the Dutch agent replaced two of four power tubes. I ordered four new ones and I use this as back up.

Part of the charm of tubes is that they start deteriorating from the minute you start using them. Fortunately it's a very gradual wearing out, most of the time.

Kustoms were good enough for John Fogerty back in the day.
