The grain doesn't look like rosewood to me.

Plenty of items around us are made from recycled materials containing God knows what. I'd rather have plain old wood, but the recycled content of these shouldn't be a concern.

All good. Arrived today. No problem with Customs.
Very nice! They are well put together and sound good.
They feel really long- big headstock.

After having it for a few days and removing the too bright, standard strings, I'll just add my voice to the chorus of "these are pretty darn good".
I have found no evidence of dead babies invoved in the fretboard.
