They've sold Maestro's for a while haven't they?  All the rest of those are actually being sold by Sam Ash through Walmart.  Sears does the same thing.

Maybe a bit of "Oh Yes!" as well, though:

Epi Embassy RI for $399
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Epiphone-Embassy-PRO-Bass-Electric-Bass-Guitar-Ebony/673893748

please have the TBird for the same price, Please have the TBird for the same price.... dammit.

Nope.  They do have the Epi Pro IV zebra thing and the Cassidy Sig at regular prices though.  Also Masterbuilt acoustics but not the bass.

Reasonable price on Gator TBird cases tho: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Gator-GWE-TBIRD-BASS-Hard-Shell-Wood-Case-for-Thunderbird-Bass-Guitars/163834901

All the Epi Line:

The Epis will all be at MAP. Sam Ash has to abide by Gibson's policies, you won't find any different pricing than direct from their website.

The Maestros have been sold direct by Walmart for several years, and at Best Buy before that.

Isn't 399 below MAP for the Embassy or am I remembering wrong?

No, it's $399. Bird is $599. I'm guessing the 7-ply neck through body accounts for the price difference.

Even in Norway we have the Maestro brand in supermarket stores. I was amazed to see an orange amp too in one of those stores, where does it end??

Here...? Not heard of that brand in the UK, but then again, not been looking for a 6 string for some years...

Maestro has been a Gibson-owned brand for decades. Not sure how long, but since no later than 1962 when the FZ-1 fuzztone pedal was introduced (same circuit as in the EB-0F).

The current Maestro guitars are sold in the UK.
