The older I get, the less Scheißmusik I find, I've become musically omnivorous.

So it's a geriatric condition?

It's not the treble that's irritating, it's the fret buzz. Raise the damn action already and build some muscle! And I concur with Rob's observation about the, er, fecal quality of the music. Are we now due for an entire generation's worth of Tal Wilkenfeld-esque noodling? Where's the hook??

Oh come on, it's melodic all over. This ain't Free Jazz. That's probably the one criticism you can make, it's smooth jazz, elevator music for people that live in a one storey multi-level house with a view to the sea. There is more demanding notes on a Steely Dan album.

I know it's not free jazz, but it ain't exactly smooth jazz either.  some of that is a bit more challenging than the folks down the retirement community could handle.

Oh yes, quite the selection of toe-tappers! This must be free jazz - who would pay to hear it?

What is non-toe-tapping (albeit slow toe-tapping) about an instrumental cover of that all-time musically demanding ballad Tears in Heaven by musical revolutionary and "Old Shredhand" enfant terrible Eric C?  Or that bluesy bass solo she does in the third vid? (Note: There is a dif between 12 note and 12 bar music ...)

This is 12 bar music. You have to visit twelve bars before it starts to sound good.
