Yakima was the house brand of Willis Music, which is a chain headquartered in Kentucky. Not sure where they were made.

I used to work for Willis; it's most likely Korean made and if the guitars in my old store were any indication, not well. Nothing against later Korean production, but the guitars (no basses) at my store were late 80's to early 90's vintage and poorly made. We finally sold  them by upgrading the hardware (crap tuners stock, but they had nice Floyd Rose knockoff bridges), changing the strings and setting them up decent. At the time, they literally had 10-15 years worth of dust on them hanging new in the store priced above $1k. No one had even tried them out in years. A little TLC and some realistic discounting had them gone in a month.
