Instant postmodern Lemmy
« on: September 11, 2016, 12:18:50 PM »
Came across this in a local shop (went in to pick up a pair of vintage Altec 417s, but they were already gone).

Wasn't about to clear shit out the way to get a better pick, but the bottom cab is a 1x15.  Also much more grey IRL than beige as it looks in the pic. Figured it would go reeeeeeeeeeal nice with one of those limited edition Ric 4003 Noirs (http://bassoutpost.com/index.php?topic=10300.0).  ;)

I love the look of those silver jubilee cabs, they made a 2x15 version too.  If my back could take it I'd have a set!

hated the solid state heads they paired them with though.

Is that what they are?  I had no idea, but I suppose that should have occurred to me.

That 4x10" is an excellent cab.
