Thanks, Bob.  Not too bad so far.  Supposed to be about 4" total rain over 2 days.  Heaviest, .25 inch in a 2 hr period starting in about an hour.  The usual hysteria in the media, of course.  I'm supposed to be getting a bass delivered by Fedex tomorrow, looks like I'll have to wait.

How is it in Kissimmee?

I didn't blow away and my 'new' bass is out for delivery.

Pre CBS vintage Kluson reverses.  I hope they haven't led me to make a big mistake...

Judging by those tuners I thought they might be sitting on a Pre CBS neck.  Price seemed right to take a chance.  DiMarzios, Klusons, and Badass are worth about that much.  So here it is, the Klingon Warrior Hermine.

Unfortunately the neck's a Schecter but parts is parts.  Tuners will go on my '57 P clone and the Borg will absorb the rest.

Really well made 'instrument', one piece honduras mahogany body, fit and finish excellent.  Marked D. Vidal #5 5/79 in the neck pocket.  Sans headstock cover, lucite spacer still in place.

Turn it into a lefty and market it as the Wizard bass... (cease and desist is futile)
