Can Anyone ID This Bass ?

It looks vaguely familiar but I can't think of the brand name.

I've seen that headstock before.

Kinda looks like GRD (Guitar Research and Design), who built stuff in the late 70s-early-80s.

Don't recall ever seeing a bass before, but the body is vaguely similar to their guitar designs.

Thanks. I rememberd it from old ads n the late 70s but couldn't recall the name.....now I know why.

Took a few attempts googling G-- letter combinations before I could remember myself  ;D

I recall seeing ads like this one in magazines back in the day...

I have a couple of old Guitar Player mags from the late 70's that had this advertisement in it. I never would have remembered the company name tho.
