Yup.
Robert Plant and Jimmy Page (drummer and bassist of Deep Purple, Jake!)

When Gibson introduced the Pelham blue LP Jr bass, somebody produce a mockup of a single-pickup TV Yellow LP Jr bass as an example of what they should have done.

The only thing about the Antoria that I'm wary of is the huge machine heads.

Pretty for sure, but with the strap button over the 16th fret, the long scale neck will dive like a goalkeeper.
The guy who bought the same bass twice — first in 1977 and again in 2023

The listing says short scale...at least four times.  Judging by mine, balance should be no problem even with strap button at the heel.

You could retrofit a chrome T-bird pickup with a trim ring and probably cover over the routing of the stock pickup.

I don't know. It needs a more annoying backdrop.  ;)

Cool bass. I was thinking neck dive too, but if it is a shorty shouldn't be bad. Get rid of that fugly pickup.

If you need it, Rob.  Grid is one inch.

Actually, neck dive might be a bigger problem than on an original since the neck meets the body at the twentieth fret... easier to play, though.

Bridge placement pretty much precludes long scale; must be a shawty.

The only thing about the Antoria that I'm wary of is the ...

fugly pickup.

When Gibson introduced the Pelham blue LP Jr bass, somebody produce a mockup of a single-pickup TV Yellow LP Jr bass as an example of what they should have done.

That blue one was similar, but they changed the shape significantly; just didn't do it for me.

You want ugly?

Didn't really improve the playability, either.

Good looking bass. TV white or yellow instead of a solid taxi cab yellow finish would have made it more attractive.
Contrary to what James Bond says, a good Gibson should be stirred, not shaken.
