What choice did I have ?   I'll definitely be thinning the herd after this.

Looks like a good deal for something so rare and so complete? If so, and even if not, congratulations!!!

Very nice!  I'm curious how he managed to remove the over-sprayed top coat from the body?  Was it a clear coat?

Look like thumbnail marks next to the base of the neck?  In any case, COOL bass, enjoy!

Cool video.  The bass sounds great...my favorite Entwhistle period sound...lots of fundamental...and not the mondo highs from the later years...

Contrary to what James Bond says, a good Gibson should be stirred, not shaken.

Glad it went to someone who will really appreciate it. 8)   You'll need to post some better pics when it arrives, the ones from the auction listing weren't that great.

That clip of The Who up there is something I saw on TV a few years back. I quite like the random blinking synth equipment, somehow suggesting that the organ part is coming from inside. JAE's red T-bird looks amazing. Did he keep it for long and was it in the Bass Culture book?

It's not in the book. I'm not sure there are ANY non-revs in the book.

There's a cardinal red Firebird III NR (and a Polaris white reverse FB VII on the opposite page) with JAE's comment, "If you still can't sell'em, f*** the shape up!"

...but no NR basses.

Nice score, Scott!
