Oh, I really like that! Bit like an over-ecstatic Chrissie Hynde. And it's always nice to hear a chick play solos who does not sound like a man while doing it.

Nice! And better than a Fender Rhodes.

Thanks, I figured I could explain this one as somewhat of an investment, particularly in white. It does have Wilkinson tuners. The case kind of sealed the deal for me.

Yeah, white was the move for me too, with both the VP and CP. All that gawking at Jackie Fox in the Runaways...

It's a good sturdy bass, I used mine for most of our shows last year and really liked it -  The only change I made to it was to replace the pickups with the Gibson re-issues, they have a bit deeper voice and lo-mid mid presence, the Epi 760s are nice and it's my intent to leave them in the new Ember Red '64.

I like Betty's butt and i cannot lie!

This is a band which seems to be achieving some local success at small venues.  Still, I didn't even know about them until I saw this video with a Gibson bass.  They're a little too post-punk pop rock for my taste.  But I genuinely wish them success and maybe they will get it, too.

You got an original! I have a yellow reissue , they’re 34 instead of 32.

A friend described them to me as being like a Jazz bass on steroids. And they are. I think of them as a Japanese surf bass. I like mine a lot. They’re also kind of shaped like an upside down Ric. But the body is much rounder. Congratulations … they are fun things.

I like a new wave slant with my music!

And have certainly never had issues with flamboyant front men whatever!
