Is it possible to get me a hi res picture of the V bass only, for our magazine? If possible right from the front, high resolution and a one colour backhground. Would be more than great!!!

Chris check the Gibson site. They have several good press pics.

Simple.
A beginners bass with extra large fretboard for players who have trouble placing their fingers in those small spaces between the frets. Once you've got that down you can slowly upgrade to a 34 inch scale.
Once you really have your fine motorics under control you can try a 30 inch scale.

Professionals become a guitar player.

Audio is most often used for Volume.
Linear is most often used for Tone

That is because the human ear does not hear increase in volume in a lineair way but logarithmically.
If you'd use a linear potentiometer on a 0 - 10 scale, it would make the volume seem too loud already on 5.

Tonal differences are heard more linear.

Awesome Dave!

That bridge configuration looks exactly like the (sixties) Thunderbird bridge set up.

You could still keep the four sealed compartments but just wire them differently.
As four sets of two in series, (each will be 2x 8Ohm = 16Ohm), then put all four of those pairs in parallel, to make 16Ohm / 4 = 4 Ohm.

4 ohms total

Why 32?
With 8 speakers you have lots if possibilities to get your desired impedance for the entire cab.
The Deltalite II 2510 are 8 ohms individually.

Have you considered Eminence Deltalites? They're neodymium. It will reduce the weight considerably and increase the efficiency.

When the speakers of one of my Eden cabs were blown, I tried a similar Eden cab that was equipped with Deltalites. It was an improvement compared to the other Eden cab that I have. Unfortunately I couldn't use them in my cab because of an impedance mismatch with my other cab and amp.

Are they really that ignorant to send a petition in German to Henry J?
I think they should've considered translating it into English...

I think the new one looks gorgeous in the press pics on the Gibson site.
Except for the shoulders. I still think they're too small.

Because the neck is larger?
Yes that is what I think.

The body of the new Flying V looks smaller to me.
