I get easily confused... I just call it "tangential thinking..."

Uwe... ta for the info but the one I was curious about was the Gibson standing upright next to the red "diamond"...?

Buzz and Doc... thanks for that... already chased that link too and have saved, but not had time to do the trawling through... off work Friday to start on the shed, and then the refin...

I'd certainly like to own her, regardless of pedigree... even give her a proper (non "tequila") refin... or be very tempted to leave her "au-naturale" once stripped down...  ;)

Chris... glad to have been of service, and remember, it is a deserved treat, after all, it was you that found me wandering in the wilderness...  ;)

Bryan... that Tee is very nearly 27 years old...!

I used to see a lot of bands - at one point I could wear a fresh tee every single day and never wash one for over a year...  :o  :o  :o  :o  :o
I had well over 400 at one point, still have quite a few and intend to sell a few on ebay to fund repairs...

How about a mint 1975 "Welcome to my Nightmare" tour shirt in pale blue with mid length sleeves, size small (mine is short sleeve orange but still wearable, just) but one I won't be selling is my original (worn to death) Motorhead "born to loose" - "live to win" 1977 tour shirt, though I may be tempted to part with my 1979 pale blue promo "Overkill" tee...  ;D

Love em but could never warrant the cost of a ticket - not a great fan of "Eden" as a set, saw the "Hotel California" tour, still even have the t-shirt...

1st LP I got was "On The Border" and even was sad enough to chase the 1st single but never got lucky at a reasonable price (b side has never appeared on LP or CD, AFAIK)

Bernie Leadon (listened from outside to a pub gig he played in London in the v early 80's with Al Perkins and Chris Hillman - 400 audience!) was always in charge in the early days - a lot of ego's in the band...

Monster fan of Joe Walsh - can anyone tell me which of his LPs has the words "turn me over" and "play me again" in the run-out grooves...?

The best Eagles CD that they never recorded was Henley's "Inside Job", which easily rivals the best the Eagles ever recorded - simply brilliant material...

Will I ever see them again (love too)...? When hell freezes over, most likely... or at least when the next DVD comes out...  ;)

London...? could have bought you a pint...  ;D

boom - boom - boom - another-one bites the dust...

Chris... tsk, tsk, tsk...

Bummer... what was that Meatloaf song... 2 out of 3 ain't bad... and I live by the "everything you do comes back to you" rule... they'll get theres in their own time, just concentrate on the good stuff...

Bret... is it on the tube...?

Dave... in a Q&A department there is always the standard to uphold, which you ably do for us...  ;)

Now I'm having trouble with my head...
Uwe... that's a silver (?) 20/20...
Did I see a red 20/20 in Chris' pics when he visited you, or am I going bananas...? not that you'd ever have more than one of a kind...  ;) and you have 3 RD's?

And what is that natural coloured Gibson semi in the foreground...?

... and for that matter, my ("Exiled") Greek comrade... RD = wierd...?  :o

Would a Thunderbird (or a Ripper) still sound like a Thunderbird if you cut off all the surplus material...? (HERESY...! THROW HIM FROM THE BALUSTRADES... STONE HIM... Oh come now, offer him a nice cup of tea, I'm sure it's just a touch of sunstroke, my dear...)

All a steinberger was was an exercise in minimalism, not saying that I'd want one, and even when I went down the "headless" route in the 80's it was for one with a "body", and not a paddle-clone... there were some interesting sounds made with them...

Never having played a 20/20, nor having had the patience to "play" with a pup from one (though it definitely came in handy!) would I have dumped the actives (as I did with my RD) and try to make one "roar"... it is unlikely that I will ever get the opportunity to own one to find out... some may consider that a blessing...  ;)

And just in case anyone was thinking it, no, I have no radical plans to do any "major" alterations to my girls...
