Don't forget that my Peter Cook is technically a "mud-bird" now... sounds wonderful, but I don't have the speaker setup yet to run at full throttle, yet...  :o

I can assure you that my assistance would only be in hoping Uwe get's something almost "unique" and most certainly "Gibson-flavoured", with my influence being more "catalytic" than "cash"...  ;)

If time is a problem, here's a totally off the wall idea, would this be a job for "Bach-Man"...  :o

"Shadocastaz" (sorry, don't know your name), should this go on the Rob/"Basvarken" list of future projects... now that I might be tempted by... the first thing that should be asked, simply out of respect to your gorgeous efforts, is your permission to forward the idea...  8)

Our gig was themed to "who can wear the silliest/most outrageous hat" and our keyboard player, Louis, saying goodbye to his friends (flys "down-under" day after our gig on 15th August) and his other band playing one last gig with him and us supporting...

Yes indeed, silly hats all round...

Louis (with Tele) and Chris...

We played nine numbers, 6 of Chris', with the live debut of one of Louis songs from a CD he released in 2005 (plays pretty much everything on it) called "Stroke", to which I included a link to below...

... and 2 covers, "Hold On, I'm Coming" and "Back In The USSR" - highly appropriate for 4th July... ;)

Here's one with a temporarily hatless Nick and me with the RD...

My hat, an inflatible Stetson, is a delightful shade of blue, not possible to be seen under the red glare, internally lit with a collection of my daughters LED lights; a vision to behold... ;D

and a blury one with the Tequilabird...

Yep, that is me singing, and be thankful I have no means of uploading video... ;)

It was a nice wide stage but as both kits (one at each end) were present, with Louis centrally positioned, and 3 guitarists, total, it was a tad cosy - I had to be careful not to send Louis' Mac flying and avoid cymbal laceration to my right, not to mention taking out Louis' head...  :o

and Mark... being of Scottish descent, we have yet to slip that yoke...  but we are trying... ;)

PS - can anyone spot the small American Republican influence in any of the pics...?

... which unequivocally proves the existance of Uwe, whereupon Uwe disappeared in a puff of logic...

(picture Peter Cook, not the luthier, sitting on the bench, with the hat and raincoat, extremely nasaly whiny voice)

"Here's an interesting fact: did you know that the internal dimensions of my old shed are nearly the same size as the external dimensions of my new shed...? Which has presented me with a dimensional challenge yet to be overcome..."

Oops - so much for a metric conversion for a 10x8 shed...

What sells sells Gary, nothing has a "value" unless you sell it - the "Mona-Lisa" is simultaneously worthless and priceless...

Re the mix - I wonder what the "White Album", or any of his other influences, would have been like without George Martin, the "real" 5th Beetle...?

Whatever, nevermind...  ;)

We don't have a "sub-zero" emoticon, Gary...

Jealousy has a name, and it is "Scroll"...

Al... or "Scrollian - in Bass, no one can hear you scream..."  ;D

Davelon...?

"Collie" could be derived from "Cally", which is in turn derived from the Gaelic word "caileag", which in turn translates as girl, or "Lassie"...

Our Shetland Collie (a fluffy minature breed) was called Caileag...

I was once at a "reject" primate sanctuary ("damaged-goods" never used to be welcome at zoo's, missing digits, etc - "look mum, that monkeys hurt", etc) We were there to drop off a big dog fox for rehab from an RTA... I had a small monkey jump over everyones shoulders when he was let loose and landed on my shoulders, wrapped his tail around my neck, and then proceed to "groom" my hair (yes, it was a long time ago...) the lady that ran the sanctuary said that he was a "gay" monkey, as he would only groom males... My wife made the comment that his hands "felt like soft leather" - we never wore our leather jackets again... they also had a marmoset that acted as a "den mother" for all the baby squirrels...
