I don't know much about them...Denis, didn't have a Guild or two or three?

Earlier Guild solid bodies were modelled after the EB-3. Then they created a line that looked more like Fenders. The one you are looking at followed those.

I love the look and even lost out on an Ebay auction or two. But when I finally tried one I found the neck to be way too chunky for my liking. But to put that into perspective, I also find P-bass necks too chunky.

"....the truss rod nut is stripped...."  Still totally playable - yeah, right.

There have been lots of B series basses coming up for sale lately. Love my B 301 chunky neck and all. If you want one that has even better balance there are a couple SB-202 basses on the bay now too.

Amen, no way it's worth that.  Unless someone is willing to pay that for it!   8)

Yeah, that one's been on my watch list for quite a while now. Not that I have any intention of buying it. I just love white basses, I like Guilds, and I've always been fascinated by the B-302. Great looker!

Had a B-301 last month for a few days.  Unfortunately it had a neck issue I couldn't fix without doing it harm so I sent it back.  But it sounded great and I loved the neck profile.  I'm on the lookout for an unmolested one.  That one would be tempting if it was a 301.

Just add frets (http://www.ebay.com/itm/1977-Vintage-Guild-Fretless-bass-Good-Cond-gigbag-and-Woven-pighog-vintage-cbl-/281435654780).
