Title: Some CITES rosewood restrictions may be eased

Complexity Of Touring With Rosewood Instruments May Soon Be Eased (https://www.npr.org/sections/therecord/2017/12/01/567836199/complexity-of-touring-with-rosewood-instruments-may-soon-be-eased)

At this point, it's only a recommendation from a CITES committee, but at least it's a first step toward allowing musicians to tour across borders with rosewood.

If this is really being driven by a demand for rosewood furniture in China, that seems pretty distinct from sue use of rosewood in instruments.  I hope this recommendation is successful, but it sounds like it will take a few years.
