Title: 1982 G3
Post by: veebass on December 21, 2017, 01:42:27 PM
I am aware that Flyguitars mentions this colour and fret board timber combination (Ebony board and red finish), so I believe it is legit.
How rare is this?
What would be a fair price to pay for it in sound condition?

Twenty quid and an odd sock?

Can't blame a guy for trying - I miss my G-3 sometimes ;)

Not sure if it helps but I have the color G3 with the 3-piece flamed maple neck but mine has the more common maple board.  Average wear and I paid 700 for mine about a year ago but I think I got a good deal.  They dont seem to come up for sale all that often but I'm not sure I'd go too much more than a grand for it depending on the condition, maybe 1100-1200 tops?

This is making me realize I might should have bought the one on gbase listed for around $700 a few years ago.  I sure did want that, too.
