Title: Custom Shop Pino Palladino sig P

Today at the local Fender dealer I spotted a cool looking Pino Palladino sig P. Picked it up, and immediately put it back. It felt like 12lbs. The thing was T40 heavy. Anybody else had a similar experience? Is Pino's '61 P exceptionally heavy?

I played one once in a Dutch store, but that is years and years ago. I can't remember if it was heavy. I guess not, cos I hate heavy P's....
