I saw that on FB. Checkerboard binding is always nice. Too orange for my taste.

I absolutely love that color...wow.  BUT....I hate the idea of a ridiculous up-charge for a paint color.

Up charge is for the color, the checker binding, and the special run for the retailer. You expect them to not charge for it? ???

The list price is $2699 -- $500 more than a regular 4003. Not bad for checkerboard binding. They show 8 in stock, so it must be a very limited run.

I'll live with the orange from my Gretsch Electomatic. I think I could buy one with the color upcharge.
