Not crappy. Uninspiring would be a better word.

This one's beautiful but way overpriced.

I bought a used Coronado II Wildwood II bass when I was in high school in 1978 for $218.50.  I was using my G-3 with my band playing through a Peavey Bass head and 215 cab. On a NYE '79 gig I decided to use the Coronado for the show.  Lots of feedback and it probably didn't help that I was using Fender 2200 black nylon strings.  My sister in law's husband had a Candy red one and he made it sound amazing in his band so I'm blaming the player! :)
