Title: Poor Gwyneth ... - NEW: Bonus Kim K Kontent!!!

I'm only posting this to preempt Uwe.

Juicing Is Officially Over. Sorry, Juice Cleanse Fanatics and Gwyneth Paltrow (http://mic.com/articles/141462/juice-cleanses-dont-work-heres-the-proof-sorry-gwyneth-paltrow#.XmOIJis64)

You know what, this forum has in the meantime corrupted my mind to such a despicable degree that I opened this thread fully convinced that "juice cleanse" referred to Gwyn's other habit of steam-cleansing certain juice-producing body parts of hers. You know Dave's use of colorful language, "doughnut bumpers" and "bagel babes" and such. I was - as is part of my generally inquisitive nature - immediately intrigued. And now it's all about fruit, Dave you sure know how to disappoint, thanks a bunch. Mind you, the first sentence of that article was still promising, namely "Put down the straw.", it had me thinking "Wow, don't these Yanks come up with the most interesting practices?!". Not for the ticklish though.

But that non-fruit cleansing can't be healthy either, plus it must be an acquired taste in more ways than one. Don't mess with nature.

And too much liquid fruit gives you diarrhea anyway - but for some reason women seem to mistake that as a sign of good health. Plus demineralizes your teeth, my dentist always says.

I spent some time a few years back working in a "healthy" supermarket. I was always amused at the number of women who flocked in, fists full of cash, to purchase whatever the latest diarrhea-inducing concoction was. According to what I've been reading of late, that practice has now been amended with the tireless pursuit of water-clear urine as well. Bottoms up all!

A most prevalent female obsession. I go when I have the time to or my gut tells me to. What goes in, will come out eventually. No sense mulling over it.

Water-clear urine? Non-sensical concept. It has to be amber-like in color and gelatinous consistency, how else are you gonna leave a mark to be (eventually) reminded of?

Sorry to disappoint you, Uwe. Smooth clams aren't as juicy as bearded ones anyway, and anyone as obsessive about cleanliness as she is... well, we can only asssume.

That's insane - water clear urine means you are in severely overhydrated and may have hyponatremia.

I recently ran across an article which referred to Goop's first sex advice issue.  There were some comments from an MD who seriously questioned the advice and even how safe some of the sex toys were.  One person summed it up by saying that Gwyneth has become the queen of pseudoscience quackery.  I almost feel sorry for her.  Being around that Coldplay guy couldn't have been a lot of fun, either.

She had a better choice and wouldn't take it, serves her right!

As long as we have Mark - Master of all Tünnels - to guide us (and all pertinent appliances), health-hazardous misuse of sex toys is nothing the LBO's members have to ever worry about. Just uninhibitedly ask beforehand when in doubt ("Now ... where does this go?"), we don't have a Projects, Mods & Repairs forum for nothing you know?!

The glass appliances are best immersed in warm water for some time before being put to their destined natural use, so I've heard. That is supposed to enhance the sensoric experience. Don't microwave though.

But it might all be different in the US you know. My beliefs received a cold shower when - this was in the early 80ies and in Detroit - a US friend of mine revealed that he insisted that his girl friends were without fillings (in their teeth). The reason given had nothing to do with dental cosmetics, but with the ability to hold a certain amount of ice cubes in one's mouth without thermic discomfort while performing sexual (well, not by any Presidential definition ...) acts on someone else which need not be specified and/or elucidated here. His sister, it has to be said, thought the practice vile and as another piece of evidence in a long line confirming to her that the filling-less girl friend (I have long forgotten her name, but she was a cheer leader, athletic feats ran in the family) was bad company for her brother.

Diese Amerikaner, I tell you ... Against that backgound, other US habits - just think of the prevalent, yet erring practice of circumcision - take on a whole new different meaning. Michigan is really everywhere.

I don't know the details of what choices Gwyneth made or how she got with Chris Martin.  I know they're not together now.  But she is never going to remain permanently with anyone.  She's just too unstable and constantly changing, like her personality has no real core.  However, I agree there is no need to feel sorry for her.  Those are her own wrong choices she is constantly making.  She definitely isn't a victim of circumstances, but is quite the opposite.  It's funny to joke about it here, but I suspect putting up with that kind of thing in real life might be trying.

This reminds me of the movie "Meet the Fockers" where Ben Stiller is told by his girlfriend what he said when he was injected with truth serum.  The part of finding Blythe Danner (Gwyneth Paltrow's real life mother) to be attractive.  It was a funny scene and that actress playing Ben Stiller's girlfriend delivered her lines very well.  Good movie.

Dave W never had any intentions at all toward Gwyneth. She was always too blonde for my taste, now she's detoxed, vaginally steamed and apparently has her sanitized orifices tinged with gold residue. Spare me.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if she actually sells some of these to celebrity-obsessed twits with money.

I took it to mean that bum to bum isn't very intimate in the sense of emotional connection.  To each their own. ... and it can hurt for some people, especially the first time due to nervous clenching and not warming/lubing up properly.

I've never had gastro spice issues.  It's due to the natural selection that comes with your family surviving communism; I have an iron stomach.  A less desirable side effect is that my mom always overcooks the meat out of habit.

Jake is US-American with Czech origins, that is why he has a difficult time telling Chinese and Japanese apart. They all do look the same, apparently. To the casual western eye.

Of course, coupling German with Japanese was handy due to the Axis Powers connection, but he needn't have gone that far: China was an (earlier) ally and supported by the Reich against the Japanese invaders all during the 20ies and 30ies.

That only ended when the Japanese explicitly asked for it to stop in late 1941 following their little Hawaiian surprise visit. Just look at Chinese uniforms of the time ... (and the Kuomintang National Revolutionary Army was trained by German generals at the time too):

Nothing is innocent; your own countryman (I make no distinction between Germans and Austrians either, FYI, which I'd argue to be historically fair) assured us of this years ago when he invented psychoanalysis.

Also typical contortionist/gymnast wear is lycra/spandex, preferrably with copious sequins, and not latex/PVC/whatever that is; they're definitely a bit freaky no matter their ethnicity.

You know, there have been some studies on this that suggest going braless actually helps keep them up, because the muscles involved actually get used, rather than atrophy because of the artificial support.

Just a bit of trivia I stumbled across when trying to figure out if I posted that pic of the squirrels worshiping a humourously oversized and innuendo-laden acorn here or not (a page or 2 up as it turns out):

If you search this site for "butt plug," you get exactly 30 results.... make that 31 now.

Anyway, the reason I wanted to know if I posted that here was because I have come to the conclusion that, despite underwhelming response to that picture (given the known proclivities of members here) that made me feel as if maybe I had read into it a bit much, I am not crazy, or at least not the only one.  Every night this last month when I'm out back smoking and someone passes by with a friend I hear them notice the statue, murmur murmur murmur and then hearty laughter.  I am now convinced this was intentionally subversive art and I applaud the genius of the artist - not only did he squeak this thing by City Council (our Councillor is an old progressive; she knows what a butt plug looks like) but he has managed to not offend anyone in the neighbourhood by carefully designing the thing with just the right amount of plausible denyability (and frankly, nobody who would be offended would mention it because it includes having to admit familiarity with not just the existence, but also specific shape, of a butt plug).

I'll come to her defense for once, if her relationship with the Coldplay guy is still as good as she says it is, then that is great for her kids. Even a peaceful divorce is still a challenge to them, but it's the next best thing to the parents staying happily together as a married couple.

And to give her and him some credit: There was zilch dirty laundry washed between them at all when they separated. Just the (ok: somewhat pretentious) announcement and that was it. Whatever the "conscious uncoupling" between them was, it seems to have worked, congrats. Unlike Johnny Depp who all of the sudden turned supposedly wife beater after just a year or so (and had his first wife come up in his defence) or Brad Pitt who went from role model husband to allegedly kids harrassing drunk all of the sudden. Gwyneth might steam her clam and all that, but she is seemingly no Amber or Angelina.

I had a New Year's Eve dinner at my first wife's house (and her significant other who is incidentally my best friend) yesterday, together with my current wife plus the kids (who had cooked for us) from my first marriage and it was a lovely, fun evening, if a little heavy on the alcohol! Infinitely superior to the fleeting gratification you get for dishing it out in a war of roses.

I agree that it's great she and the Coldplay guy can have such a peaceful divorce.  On the other hand, what she may be failing to understand is that there are some people in the world not as nice as she seems to be.  People can't just force a peaceful divorce to happen when at least one person involved is determined to be uncooperative.  I don't speak from personal experience, but from what I've observed watching people around me, etc.

No issue at all. They only got together after my first wife and I had separated for many years. I'm happy for both of them, she had been alone too long and his marriage had been a shambles for far too many years. And I always knew that they were attracted to each other anyhow - though they always denied it/didn't know it themselves!

I forget what Alice Cooper track it was (probably a non-single track off of Trash, which is the cassette of his I had at the age of, I dunno, 12 or so) but the outro to the song had some banter: "my love was like a lolipop..... did you lick it, or did you get to the chewing center"

edit - apparently it was the title Track off that record, Trash, and it was a duet with Bon Jovi (who speaks the aforementioned line).  This last bit escaped young me.

I'm ok with both (Jake and Jon!).

Bon Jovi's acceptance of their fate that every song has to be a stadium-worthy A side stunts their musical growth, but then you can say the same thing about Bruce Springsteen, the Foo Fighters and U2. Live, they are a tight band, especially their drummer is good.

And, yes, I liked Bad Medicine when it came out, it was so gloriously dumb in a good way.

I respecect Bon Jovi for the same thing I respect Metallica - they successfully saved their essentially 80ies music into the future and are now both global brands to zillions who have never heard of their former contemporaries such as, say, Cinderella or Armoured Saint, that's no mean feat.

My threshold of worry would only be crossed once she starts nesting and breeding those Jadeite eggs. Now that would be outright weird.

They reinvented themselves with that song (and the correponding album plus Jon's new haircut at the time) - it saved them from becoming Cinderella or Rough Cutt and grabbed them by their collective spandex pants to drag them from the 80ies into the 90ies and onwards without alienating their old fan base, neatly sidestepping the grunge deluge while they were at it. Never a Bon Jovi fan, I admired it at the time as a strategic move mapped out and executed with military precision. I saw the above vid back then and thought: "This is gonna work for them." Very smart this boy from Jersey, got to hand it to him.

"First it was shocking, then it was having a cultural moment, now it’s practically standard in the modern bedroom repertoire—or so a quick scan of any media, from porn to HBO, will tell you. But the reality about anal is not, actually, that everyone’s doing it, says research psychoanalyst and author Paul Joannides, Psy.D., whose comprehensive book on sexuality, The Guide to Getting it On!, is used in college and medical school sex-ed courses across the US and Canada."

While feeling somewhat set back in my own personal experience, I am relieved to find that the LBO - in some quarters wrongly deemed as an abbreviation for "The Lost Butt 'Ole", but I hasten to assure you that this wasn't on Dave's and my mind at all! - has focused on this cultural moment from its, errm, innocent infancy and never really lubed let up with it.

Post by: uwe on March 27, 2017, 01:28:31 PM
But Mark, the learned Dr. Paul Joannides isn't quite as unequivocal/(w)holeheartedly endorsing in his recommendation as you! If I may cite (in line with the exacting science standards of this forum of fora):

- "There are some couples who enjoy anal sex a lot, maybe 10 percent to 15 percent of all straight couples. But if you ask them how often they have anal vs. vaginal intercourse, they’ll say maybe they have anal one time for every five or ten times they have vaginal intercourse. We occasionally, as in once a year, hear from women who say they have anal as often as vaginal, but that’s unusual."

- "I’ve seen studies suggesting that 65 percent of men have anal sex, and others that suggest the figure is less than 50 percent. So, I don’t have exact figures for hetero or homosexual couples, but there is data suggesting that a good percentage of gay men would rather give and receive blowjobs than have anal sex."

- "The way the rectum curves shortly after the opening tells us we need to make a lot of adjustments for anal to feel good. Also, the two sets of sphincter muscles that nature placed around the opening of the anus to help humans maintain their dignity when in crowded spaces (to keep poop from dropping out) mean there’s an automatic reflex if you push against them from the outside.

So one of the first things a woman or man needs to do if they want to be on the receiving end of anal sex is to teach their sphincter muscles to relax enough that a penis can get past their gates. This takes a lot of practice."

- "They show none of this in porn. Nor do they show communication, feedback, or trust. Couples who do not have excellent sexual communication, who don’t freely give and receive feedback about what feels good and what doesn’t, and who don’t have a high level of trust should not be having anal sex."

- "A woman has a 17-times-greater risk of getting HIV and AIDS from receiving anal intercourse than from having vaginal intercourse. So your partner needs to be wearing a condom and using lots of lube, unless both of you are true-blue monogamous, with no sexual diseases. Any sexually transmitted infection can be transmitted and received in the anus. Because of the amount of trauma the anus and rectum receive during anal intercourse, the likelihood of getting a sexually transmitted infection is higher than with vaginal intercourse."

- "The risks are substantially reduced by the use of condoms and lube as long as they are used correctly, but you won’t find too many condoms that say “safe for anal sex” because the FDA has not cleared condoms for use in anal sex. That said, research indicates that regular condoms hold up as well as thicker condoms for anal sex, so there’s nothing to be gained from getting heavy-duty condoms.

As for using the female condom for anal sex—studies report more slippage and more pain than with regular condoms."

- "One of the urology consultants for my book believes that unprotected anal sex can be a way for bacteria to get into the man’s prostate gland. He prefers the person with the penis that’s going into the other person’s butt use a condom.

Also, small chunks of fecal matter can lodge into the man’s urethra. So if the couple has vaginal intercourse following anal intercourse without a condom, the male partner should pee first in addition to washing his penis with soap and water."

- "I know of no studies on the relationship between pre-anal enemas and health outcomes. As for its general wisdom, people seem as divided on that as on politics in Washington. So I would say, to each her own."

- "Both of you should read all you can about it first. Spend a few weeks helping the receiving partner train her/his anal sphincters to relax. Make sure you and your partner have great sexual communication, trust, and that you both want to do it, as opposed to one trying to pressure the other, or not wanting to do it but doing it because you are afraid your partner will find someone else who will. Do not do it drunk or stoned, and do not use lube that numbs your anus. If it doesn’t feel good when it’s happening, stop."

- "Some women say they have amazing orgasms from anal, but usually they will be stimulating their clitoris at the same time."

- "We don’t tell ... (our kids) .... about the clitoris, about women’s orgasms, about masturbation, about the importance of exploring a partner’s body, and learning from each other. We don’t tell them that much of what they see in porn is unreal, and we don’t talk to them about the importance of mutual consent. So I don’t see anal being at the top of most parents’ “should talk to our kids about” lists. There are more important things we need to be talking about first."

******

Actually, and now seriously, and irrespective about it being linked on the site of Dave's old steaming crush, this is the most comprehensive (I wanted to avoid "in depth", ok?!)/interesting article on anal sex I have yet seen.

Sodomy is more prevalent in a civilization on the decline.
Title: Re: Poor Gwyneth (Uwe sez: After a wobbly start, this thread is now whipping it up!)
Post by: uwe on March 28, 2017, 02:12:31 AM
I believe it rather tends to be attached to civilisations perceived in decline - but mainly for propagandistic reasons of the opponents as a symbol for general decadence. We'll never really know about supposed sexual preferences of the old Greeks ("Greek style" is to this day in Germany an euphimism for anal sex), the Romans and the Osmanic Empire (that rape scene at the police station in Lawrence of Arabia tried to put a stamp on a whole civilisation though it was Lawrence, the Westerner, himself who was a gay man in real life). Early Islamic literature - when that civilisation was at its height - is full of man to man love and romance, the raging anti-gayism of modern day Islam was ironically nurtured by Western colon-(no pun intended)-ialism. The Quran is - unlike the Bible - silent on the matter and doesn't damn it. And the first Western translations of Islamic literature elegantly censored the issue by changing one of the protagonists in couple love/romance situations conveniently into a woman.

I think the greater availabilty of porn has a lot to do with it becoming a subject in heterosexual circles - though that doesn't really say much about real life prevalence***. The first heterosexual anal scene I ever saw was in a late nineties porn flic - it was so new to me that I didn't even quite realize it initially. Before that I had seen "sodomy" scenes exactly twice on screen: in Lawrence of Arabia und in Cruising. And remember I worked one time in the red light district of Frankfurt in the early 80ies with a dozen or so mini screens running endlessly, all showing various porn (let me tell you: even for a young man in his early twenties that is only exciting the first three days and numbing afterwards), I had to supervise whether the VHS recorders were running properly for the various video booths. Not once did I see there an anal sex scene back then - and I saw pretty much everything else!

*** A recent study of sex behavior of German youth revealed that perceived changes from previous generations are wildly overstated. Young people do not really have sex earlier than the previous generations, they are not substantially more promiscious (most women have 5 to 10 sex partners in their life, most men only 10 to 15), they are hardly more adventurous in their sexual practices, the "reenactment" of porn flics tends to be a fleeting phase. And the big romantic ideal is still finding THAT ONE PERSON you can have fulfilling sex with all your life. We won't be going under in a cesspool of perceived immorality for a while.  And in case you were wondering: the numbers of child-related sex crime have gone down consistently too - it is just that those few that happen (= still too many) receive a wider coverage and are not hidden under a tabooed veil of silence anymore. Children are also more aware than they used to be in recognizing and reacting to sexually motivated acts of adults.

I've heard that it is mostly a "home experience". I believe I have never lived with a woman that wouldn't have kicked me out at the faintest proposal of something like that  ;D, but curiosity with young people seems to be higher.

That said, I find those historic battleground reenactments (Gettysburg, D-Day, in Germany the "Völkerschlacht" against Napoleon) disconcertingly noteworthy in their own right. Strictly a matter of taste.

Uwe, you can't blame western colonialism for what you call raging anti gayism in modern Islam. Salafism is a throwback to 7th century Islam and their barbaric behavior isn't our responsibility. The problem is Islam and Europe needs to realize that to stop any more women or children from getting sodomized, to stop people from getting stabbed and run over by vehicles or worse.

Honorary mention now that I think of it (alas!, memory is a fleeting thing):

I'm a great fan of Lars von Trier's work, it can be disturbing and of great poetic beauty at the same time. Antichrist is still missing in my viewings, with my penchant for Willem Dafoe's acting I wanted to rent it out already some time ago after I had seen a trailer.

Yeah, I was gonna raise the Bosch/DP connection too. And I liked the first line up too, but with Evan's smooth crooning and Simper's melodic, but very early sixties style bass playing, they were too firmly entrenched in the ending decade (DP's 3rd album was released in early 69) and not well poised for the coming one. Blackmore had heard Led Zeppelin II and that was the death knell for that particular line up which would have probably along the way developed into more pastoral English prog, but they wouldn't have conquered American FM radio.

Rod Evans, that first DP singer and the voice of Hush, has disappeared off the face of this earth for decades now. He was last heard of in the early 80ies with the ill-fated and -advised bogus-DP that toured a few southern States in the US. From then on all trace is lost - no one knows whether he is even still alive. He still has earnings from his DP days, he had to surrender them for some time in the wake of the court action settlement of his bogus DP antics, but they were resumed a while ago, must be fed to some escrow account, no one has declared him dead yet and he seems to have no known living relatives. Your chance to claim that he was your dad!

I've seen "Europa" and "The Kingdom" by Lars von Trier.  But "Melancholia" was my favorite by far.  Kirsten Dunst was perfect for that role--something which I'm sure was obvious to Lars von Trier from the start.  That's one of those few movies I could watch over and over.  Usually, I can't do that.  It probably helps to be a sci-fan and also a fan of Kirsten Dunst.

Wow, thanks, I never saw anything of that length and audio quality of the Bogus Purple!  had expected it to be even (much) worse. Granted, the rendition is hamfisted, but so are a lot of Smoke on the Water versions if not played by Purple. Evans voice is immediately recognizable, but his limits are immediately obvious too: He's flat throughout (one of the reasons why he was dismissed in 1969: "He had issues pitching when the music got louder.") and he is rhythmically insecure though the Smoke on the Water verse is hardly a sophisticated rap by Eminem.

But a real historic piece, vielen Dank!

No issues with Cafferty, yes, he sounds like the Boss, but he wasn't the only one who was Springsteen-inspired back then.

They were "misinformed" -- riiiiight. The carbon material was probably developed by someone whose neighbor's cousin's former coworker once read a book about NASA. Yeah, that's the ticket. We'll just claim it was in NASA spacesuits.

Maybe if Goop's customers would put these healing stickers on their jade eggs before inserting them, all kinds of magical stuff will happen.

That straightened long hair look has become incredibly boring too  :bored: - it's been around since the mid to late nineties or so now, time for something new. Get a fetching short haircut, Gwyn, you're turning 45 end of the month and you can afford it too to have it recut every two weeks! Plus you live in London where they know how to do it.

I know that quote. "Always in style" in certain quarters who are perhaps not the most fashion-daring. Long hair - fresh from the shower, tousled or out of bed - can look great, but that sleek straightened out "event" look has become a non-individualistic bore. And there is a fine line between a still youthful look and one having just missed the station. Gwyneth has a pretty face and a nice smile she doen't need to hide, but her haircut is lame.

But then I think Tilda Swinton is hot, so what do I know.

I was never a fan of her singing, either.  But Sonny was even worse. It's hard to believe he was involved in writing a song, though, that knocked the Beatles off the top of the UK charts for a few weeks in 1964.

Cher is what Rodney Daingerfield called a two-bagger. You'd need a bag over your head in case the one over her head breaks.

Sonny was a decent songwriter. He managed to bamboozle people into thinking that Cher had talent, so that's something.

I saw her on her first (semi-final), second (close to final) or third (currently final) Farewell Tour, but everytime she looked as good as new.

Cher was so hot, she even gave battleships (multiple) boners, so there!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Grdev5ktOGw

(Ken, the likely product of the Gregg & Cher gig you saw can be viewed at around 2:35: Mom gives her honey Elijah Blue a barely beclothed butt bump.)

I know that people find her voice divisive, but I think she did well as an actress, too bad she stopped making films, I think she had great one-liners on screen (like when her screen daughter Wynona R. went all devout Catholic in adolescent passion in Mermaids and Cher looks at her sideways and quips: "You do know we're really Jews, right?"). Or in real life, her introduction here alone is priceless:

No surprise there, she consists mostly of replacement plastic parts.

This forum's untarnished reputation is based on scientific evidence, not wild speculation and conjecture:

If I may butt in with a comment: That hair color looks awful on her, but it's not without pertinent predecessors:

And I didn't like it on Cher either.  :-\

From Gwyneth to Cher to Kim. Dave will probably say that is a marginal improvement as Kim neither steams nor sings.

Flash thought: Looking at those beach pics and ignoring hair (where apparent) color for a moment, butt rather focusing on and keeping abreast of other traits Kim projects backwards and forwards with natural ease: Does it all actually help her float? ??? (She'd be - much like the Titanic - unsinkable then.)

Kim is homely. The rest of the family ranges from homely to butt-ugly. Worse yet, they're brainless, money-grubbing sluts.

Aesthetic standards have changed since I was young. Today, if a butt-ugly woman has enormous lips and an enormous ass, there are men who will think she's beautiful and women who will undergo plastic surgery to look like her.

I think the 80's mentality have taken over media and fashion for too long, people have their taste messed with and all of a sudden young people think the abovementioned girls (except cher perhaps) look normal.

Maybe it will swing back to the 70's again in a few years, complete with pussy hair and experimental gibson bass designs!
